Pasithea was one of the Charites, wife to Hypnos, and keeper of the hour between waking and dreaming. We named the company for her because that hour deserved better than an afterthought.

The Goddess
In Greek myth, Pasithea presided over the liminal space between consciousness and sleep, the moment the body surrenders and the mind begins to dream. She was married to Hypnos, god of sleep, and she was one of the Charites, the divine graces.
Every piece we make is named from that world. The Elysian, for the blessed fields where the favoured rest.

The Vision
We started Veil of Pasithea because the sleepwear aisle is pastels and safe femininity, and there are women who want something darker. Something that treats the night as sacred rather than as a pause before morning.
Women who light candles, burn incense, and know that rest is not laziness. It is practice.

The Craft
A Canadian-based company, designed in Alberta, made in small runs. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a season to turn. That is slower than a click, and it is the reason the pieces last.
We would rather make two hundred good pairs than two thousand forgettable ones.
