Veil of Pasithea is a Canadian-based company operating from Alberta. This page explains what this website collects and why.

What we collect

If you join the Veil, we store the email address you give us and the date you gave it. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject and message so we can reply. That is the entire set.

The site does not run advertising trackers, does not sell data, and does not build a profile of you across other websites.

Why we collect it

Email addresses are used to send collection announcements and nothing else. Contact form data is used to answer your question. We do not use either for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record. Contact messages are kept for two years so we can look up a past conversation, then deleted.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider and our email provider process this data on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver mail. They are not permitted to use it for anything else.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@veilofpasithea.com and we will action it within thirty days.

Payments

This site does not currently process payments. When checkout opens, card details will be handled by the payment provider and will never touch our servers. This page will be updated before that happens.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email to anyone on the list.
